FORMER Dons keeper Scott Bain today received his first call-up to the Scotland squad.
Bain, who was released by Aberdeen and now plays for Dundee, is in the 26-man squad named by national boss Gordon Strachan to play Qatar and the Republic of Ireland next month.
Defender Mark Reynolds is the only Don to make the squad.

Strachan has recalled in-form pair Charlie Adam (Stoke City) and Leigh Griffiths (Celtic).
Celtic’s former Aberdeen defender Charlie Mulgrew is also back a few days after playing his first match after a lengthy lay-off through injury.
Griffiths has scored 13 goals in the Scottish Premiership this season and will be joined up front by another former Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher, who netted a hat-trick in Scotland’s last fixture against Gibraltar.
