Young winger Scott Wright has signed a contract extension at Aberdeen, the club has announced.
The 20-year-old announced himself for the Dons last season when he scored a hat-trick in a 6-0 demolition of Partick Thistle.
With the departure of Jonny Hayes and Niall McGinn at the end of last term, Wright has become a first-team regular for Derek McInnesm making seven appearances and scoring once so far in the 2017/18 campaign.
Scott Wright said: “The manager spoke to me a couple of weeks ago and things moved pretty quickly.
“I’m delighted to be staying and such a lot has happened since I signed earlier in the year. I’ve had a run in the team and I’ve managed to score some goals.
“There’s a lot of competition in my position which is healthy and just encourages everyone to try that bit harder.”
Derek McInnes said: “I really enjoy working with Scott and I’m delighted that he has committed his long term future with us.
“I feel, as a player, his best years are of course ahead of him and he will be a very important player for us going forward.”
