The cup run could see the Dons end a disappointing season on high, and give new manager Stephen Glass an early chance to land silverware and endear himself to the supporters.
Since the Millennium, Aberdeen have gone deep in the national trophy several times, losing out in finals and semi-finals. However, they have also been on the end of some embarrassing defeats.
