Aberdeen have confirmed their pre-season fixtures for this summer ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Dons boss Derek McInnes will be hopeful the matches will be the warm-up to the start of a campaign in the Europa League for a fifth successive year.
Currently holding second spot in the Premiership, if the Reds finish runners-up and Celtic win the Scottish Cup on May 19, McInnes’ side will enter the Europa League at the second qualifying round stage on Thursday, July 26.
If the Reds finish third, or Motherwell win the Scottish Cup, they will enter Europe at the first qualifying stage on Thursday, July 12.
Aberdeen begin their pre-season with a friendly against Falkirk at Gayfield Park, Arbroath, on Wednesday, July 4 (7.30pm).
The Championship Bairns are managed by former Dons skipper Paul Hartley.
The Dons will then face St Johnstone on Sunday, July 8 (2pm), in a testimonial match for Chris Millar.
The following Sunday, July 15 (2pm), the Reds will face Cove Rangers in a match to officially open the Highland League champions’ new Balmoral Stadium.
