Teenage Aberdeen swimmer Toni Shaw has missed out on a chance to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games – but recorded her best ever time.
Albyn School pupil Toni Shaw competed this afternoon in the women’s SM10 200m individual medley final and finished in sixth place.
The youngster was 10 seconds off the pace but her finishing time – 2 minutes and 38.38 seconds – was her best ever.
Toni is the youngest member of Scotland’s Commonwealth Games team.
The gold medal was won by New Zealand’s Sophie Pascoe.
