Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna will tonight earn his second cap for Scotland after being named in the starting line-up for the match against Hungary.
The centre-back is one of only four players to retain his place from Friday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Costa Rica, with Allan McGregor, Andy Robertson and Charlie Mulgrew also in the starting 11.
There are once again places on the bench for Dons midfielders Ryan Christie and Kenny McLean, but one former Red, Ryan Fraser, has earned a starting slot, and is likely to start at right wing back in Budapest.
Former Dyce Boys Club player Stuart Armstrong comes in to win his fifth cap in a midfield which also features John McGinn, Callum McGregor and James Forrest. West Brom’s Matt Phillips starts up-front, while there is a debut for recent Celtic signing Jack Hendry in defence.
