A CYCLIST is fighting for his life after crashing into a parked car.
The incident happened around 4pm yesterday on Grieve Road, in Greenock.
The 48-year-old man was taken to Inverclyde Royal Infirmary, before being transferred to Southern General Hospital in Glasgow.
Hospital staff describe his condition as critical.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney, from Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit said: “Inquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of this incident.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed what happened to contact police via the non-emergency number 101.”
