Police have appealed for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in the Highlands.
The attack happened near the High School in Ullapool in the early hours of Tuesday.
Officers want to trace a man in his 30s who wore a red jacket with white sleeves and spoke with a foreign accent.
He is around 5ft 10ins and of average build, with short dark hair.
Detective Inspector Donald MacDonald said: “This is a particularly distressing assault and I am appealing for anyone who was in the Ullapool area on Monday evening or Tuesday morning and has information that could assist enquiries to come forward.
“Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and I would like to reassure the public that we are using all available means to identify the person responsible.”
