A new takeaway is set to open in Aberdeen in early spring.
The Pig’s Wings will take over the former Tastie Tattie site on Upperkirkgate.
It will offer a range of street food, including a lot which is European-inspired.
Tommy Houghton, co-owner of The Pig’s Wings, said: “It’s big boots to fill. A lot of Aberdonians are a bit upset that we’re not doing potatoes.
“We’re going to be doing more street food, and we’ll have things like feathered pork and Sauerkraut.
“We just thought that there’s a lot of places for food that are more underrated.
“We’ve got enough here, we’ve got really good meats so we wanted to do something a bit different.”
The Pig’s Wings is a joint venture between Tommy Houghton and Marcos Sasso.
