The sky will light up above the north-east when bonfire and fireworks spectaculars get under way.
An array of colours will keep thousands of people entertained in the coming days.
Ellon and District Round Table kicked off the Guy Fawkes celebrations in the area last Saturday with hundreds of people gathering to watch and enjoy the fun.
The biggest display will take place at Aberdeen Beach on Monday and will have a movie theme.
Around 12,000 people are expected to attend the free event organised by Aberdeen City Council.
A charity firewalk will take place from 6.30pm with the fireworks extravaganza beginning at 7.30pm.
Across Aberdeenshire and Moray a number of displays are also to take place.
Drumoak: Drumoak and Durris Community Group display will start at 6.45pm with a barbecue and marshamallow toasting. The event is taking place in an area close to Sunnyside Drive, and directions will be displayed.
Mintlaw: Aden Country Park, Aden-een, The Shell Fireworks Parade from 6.30pm.
Kintore: Fireworks will start at 6.30pm at the school playing fields.
Ballater: The Ballater Charitable Chiels community bonfire and fireworks display at Monaltrie Park takes place from 7pm.
St Combs: A bonfire and fireworks display will take place at 6.15pm at the beach, organised by the St Combs Village Trust.
Oldmeldrum: The Sports Committee, along with Making Meldrum Better, will host the annual display at the Pleasure Park from 6.30pm.
Rosehearty: A bonfire and fireworks display will start at 6.30pm in the Caravan Park.
Methlick: The bonfire will be lit from 6.30pm at the French’s Field at Methlick Wood.
Montrose: Hosted by the 1st Hillside Angus Scout group at 6.30pm at Charleton Farm.
Banchory: Taking place in King George V Park, the display kicks off at 6.30pm.
Banff: The display starts from 6pm inside the Duff House grounds, and is being organised by the Banff Round Table.
Edzell: Starting at 6.30pm at the Edzell Muir run by the local community.
Elgin: Hosted by the Rotary Club, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm at Cooper Park.
Premnay: A fireworks display and bonfire will be held in the field opposite Premnay Village Hall starting at 6pm.
St Cyrus: Taking place in the field opposite the Scout Hut off Beach Road starting at 6.30pm.
Alford: Gates open at 6.30pm at the Grampian Transport Museum with refreshments available.
Stonehaven: Bonfire and fireworks display takes place at 6pm at the town’s Mineralwell Park.
Aberdeen: Starting at 6.30pm at the beach.
Cruden Bay: The annual display takes place at Mill Park starting at 6.30pm.
Kemnay: Starting at 6pm at Bogbeth Park.
Peterhead: Gadle Braes bonfire will begin at 6pm with fireworks set off from a controlled area.
Aboyne: The fireworks display will take place at 6pm on the village green.
Newmachar: Display taking place from 6.30pm in Charles Gordon Park.
Oyne: The annual display starts at 6.30pm at the village hall.
