A major wrestling event has been postponed for a month due to adverse weather.

The 5 Star Wresting event had been scheduled to perform at the BHGE Arena, formerly known as the AECC, in Aberdeen next Thursday, however the group have been forced to postpone the show until April 12 due to bad weather.

A group spokesman said: “This decision has been made in light of the severe weather and travel chaos which not only affected our last show in Belfast, leaving key members of our team stranded, but has already had significant knock-on effects impacting this week’s scheduled show.

“We apologise for any inconvenience to any fans who have bought tickets for the March 8 event at the BHGE Arena in Aberdeen. If you have already purchased a ticket to the event on March 8, your existing ticket will automatically be valid for April 12.”

The group’s next live event will be at the Manchester Arena on March 22.
