A poet is holding a series of workshops in Aberdeen in an effort to help fellow creatives.
Spoken word artist Jo Gilbert, 43, is hosting four events leading up to the first ever Doric Poetry Slam – set to take place on Wednesday March 27.
The fourth and final session focuses on performance technique workshop.
It is open to all levels of writing such as beginners and amateurs on Tuesday March 19, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Aberdeen Arts Centre on King Street.
Guests can learn how to write, edit, refine and perform their own poems in Doric.

The Doric Poetry Slam will run from 7.30pm until 11pm at the Spin vinyl record shop on Littlejohn Street.
It will be judged by a panel of local creatives such as writer Shane Strachan.
