Gale Beattie, who heads up planning at the local authority, told councillors the work has now been carried out.
She said: “An officer went out last Thursday to look at the impact that has had and that has been successful in allowing the road to be passable.”
A drainage pipe has also been installed at the low point to allow water to drain to an adjacent field.
