
Emergency services were called to a popular nature reserve after a woman broke her ankle.
Ambulance, police and mountain rescue services were sent out to attend the incident at Bennachie yesterday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were made aware around 1pm that a woman had fallen and broken her ankle on Bennachie.
“Officers, mountain rescue and ambulance attended – they located the female and helped her to safety.”

The Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team provided members and equipment for the evacuation.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 12.49pm to attend an incident at Bennachie in Aberdeenshire.
“We dispatched one ambulance and our special operations team to the scene.
“We transported one female patient in her 30s to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
