A woman has been rescued from the water at Aberdeen Harbour this afternoon.
The Aberdeen Lifeboat was called to the scene by police at around 12.35pm today to assist a woman at the Jamieson’s Quay are of the harbour.
She was found between the sterns of moored supply vessels.
The woman was taken from the water unhurt and conscious and returned to the lifeboat station and a waiting ambulance.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were made aware of a concern for the welfare of a female at Aberdeen Harbour at 12.15pm.
“Officers assisted other emergency services.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 12,33pm from Police Scotland to attend an incident at Aberdeen Harbour.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.
“One female patient was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
