
A woman has admitted stealing almost £400 of candles and clothes from shops in Aberdeen.
Kerry Gault, 41, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court from custody charged with stealing from three shops.
Gault stole a quantity of candles from Boots The Chemist in the Bon Accord Centre, Aberdeen, on December 7, and from Dobbies Garden Centre, Lang Stracht, Aberdeen, on December 22.
On Thursday, Gault stole a quantity of clothes from Sports Direct on Union Street, Aberdeen.
Fiscal depute Stuart Wright said the candles were valued at £263.89. The stolen clothes were valued at £126.95.
All of the items were recovered.
Stuart Beveridge, Gault’s solicitor, said his client had been struggling financially.
Sheriff Margaret Hodge deferred sentence on Gault, whose address was given as Anderson Road, Aberdeen, for reports.
She will be sentenced next month.
