A woman has appeared in court facing a danger to life charge after another woman was hit by a car in a supermarket car park.
Paramedics and police were called to Tesco in Buckie at around 1.30pm yesterday afternoon following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
As a result a 35-year-old woman required hospital treatment at Dr Gray’s in Elgin. Her injuries were not life threatening.
Claire Campbell, 30, appeared in private at Elgin Sheriff Court charged in connection with the incident.
She is charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life, assault, and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Campbell, whose general address was described as Moray, made no plea and the case against her was committed for further examination.
No further court dates have been set.
