
A woman has been charged in connection with an alleged dog attack in Aberdeen.
It follows reports that a 30-year-old man was injured by a dog outside Spin Records on Littlejohn Street, Aberdeen, at around 4.20pm on April 21.
The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment and had 18 stitches to the right side of his face.
He also suffered injuries to his chin.
The following morning, the man had two hours of surgery at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
In the days after the alleged incident, police said they were carrying out inquiries.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a report at 4.20pm on April 21 concerning a man being bitten by a dog.
“We can confirm that a 27-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident.
“A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
