A woman was taken to hospital by helicopter after falling off a horse in a North-east village.
Emergency services were called to Rosehearty at around 4pm yesterday following reports that someone was in distress.
The ambulance service attended the incident at the beach and the woman was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by helicopter.
It is not known the extent of her injuries but police confirmed she had been airlifted to hospital.
Police said they were only involved “for traffic purposes”.
