A pensioner has been charged after four women were injured following a collision with a car in a North-east village.
The 80-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident, which happened in The Square of Portsoy yesterday.
Two women remain in hospital with serious injuries following the crash.
The two other pedestrians suffered minor injuries.
The pedestrians were all aged in their 40s and 50s.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police can this morning confirm an 80-year-old woman reported to procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.”
