A woman has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a man at a North-east house.
Grace Fullerton, 59, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with an incident in Westhill’s Brimmond Crescent last week.
It came after a 63-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident on Tuesday, June 14.
Fullerton, whose general address was given in court as Westhill, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court accused of assault to severe injury, disfigurement, danger to life and attempted murder.
She made no plea or declaration during her appearance and was remanded in custody. The case against her was continued for further examination.
Police cordoned off the house as forensics officers examined the scene.
And a police presence remained at the home for the rest of the week, with a cordon in place.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 8pm on Tuesday and two people were taken to hospital.
Neighbours said six police cars, two ambulances and forensics teams were on the scene on the night of the incident.
