A woman is in a stable condition after a serious crash in the North-east.
The collision happened on the A90 Peterhead to Fraserburgh road near Lonmay.
A 38-year-old woman, who was driving a black Audi A3, was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash yesterday or saw the black Audi A3 prior to the collision to contact police on 101.
The road reopened to drivers at around 8.30pm but temporary traffic lights have been installed at the scene.
One lane will remain closed for approximately four days while urgent road repairs are carried out.
