
A man from Wolverhampton has been charged after cocaine worth around £11,000 was recovered in Aberdeen city centre.
The Class A drug and around £5,000 in cash was recovered following an operation in the Guild Street area of the city yesterday.
A 26-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with the recovery.
Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said: “We are committed to targeting those intent on bringing drugs to the north-east with the sole purpose of making money which can only serve to spread harm and misery in our communities.
