Scottish Water will be carrying out some work on water mains in Aberdeen over the coming weeks that will require a part-time lane closure on the A90.
The work, which is being carried out by the contractor Clancy on Scottish Water’s behalf, will take place on the Parkway (A90) from April 16 until around April 30.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the eastbound lane from the Whitestripes Avenue roundabout to the Balgownie Road junction.
The lights will be in place daily from 9.30am until 3.30pm and will be manually controlled during these times to ensure traffic flows as smoothly as possible and with minimum disruption.
Joanna Peebles, communications manager for Scottish Water, said: “The traffic management will be removed every day after 3.30pm and the road will then be fully reopened until 9.30am the following day.
“By carrying out this work after morning rush hour and before the evening commute home, we hope to cause minimum disruption. Throughout the work there is not expected to be any impact on the water supply.
“We thank customers and road users for their patience as this essential work is carried out.”
