Residents in an Aberdeen community were left without water last night due to a burst water main.
Scottish Water warned residents of Cove that a fault was found in Earns Heugh Way.
The burst main affected the water supply to people living in the AB12 area.
The fault was fixed at 9.25pm, according to the Scottish Water website.
A note on the site said: “Supplies have now been restored to properties in Earns Heugh Way, Cove Bay.
“Customers may experience discoloured water, if your water is discoloured, please run your cold kitchen tap at half pressure and the water should clear.
“We apologise for any inconvience this has caused and would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding.”
