THE main road into Aberdeen International Airport is due to close for most of the day after a water main burst.
The incident was reported at 6am on Dyce Drive, near the petrol station.
Police Scotland were made aware of the burst main and Scottish Water were called to the scene to fix the problem.
The road will close, for inbound traffic only, for most of the day for repair work.
A diversion via Kirkhill Road will be put in place.

A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “We have attended to a burst water main on Dyce Drive, near the entrance to Aberdeen International Airport this morning and have made alterations to our network to ensure supplies stay in place to nearby homes and businesses.
“Repair work is now being planned to reinstate the road and footpath.
“We apologise to local people affected by this issue with our network and we wish to assure them that we are working to reinstate the road and footpath as soon as possible.”
