Watches and rings among £50,000 worth of items stolen from North-east home

Around £50,000 worth of jewelry and electrical items have been stolen from a property in the North-east.

Watches, rings and other personal items were taken during a break-in at a property in the Blairdaff area of Inverurie which happened between Sunday, February 4 and Friday, February 9.

Detective Constable Connor McKeen said: “We would ask that anyone who was in the area over the dates given and saw anything unusual or suspicious gets in touch with us.

“Theft by housebreaking is one of the most harrowing crimes and extensive inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.

“We would ask anyone with information or who is offered items for sale and they are unsure as to where they have come from gets in touch with police on 101 using reference number CF0032170218 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
