Visitors from across the world descended on the small Moray town of Burghead last night to watch the spectacular Burning of the Claive.
The ceremony dates back to around 400AD when the town was the capital of the ancient Pictish Kingdom.
Photographer’s Kenny Elrick and Jason Hedges made trip north to the town on the shore of the Moray Firth and captured these images.
