HIS DAY to day is spent tackling rogue parkers on the Granite City’s streets.
But now a senior city warden is cracking down on dog fouling – by penning a dog poo rap.
Senior city warden George Chambers decided to ‘drop’ the beat to educate school kids about the risk of not picking up after their pets.
George even performs the do-do ditty when he visits schools under the council’s ScoopWatch scheme.
He said: “I was trying to think of something different, and I had never rapped in my life before so I thought I would give it a try.
“I came up with the words, and spoke to the music teacher in Portlethen Academy, and she and her pupils put music together for it and that was that, it’s just brilliant.
“The youngsters take our message, go home to their mums and dads, and just nag them to clean up the mess, and nagging from a youngster is one of the best ways to get a message across.”
