A snow warning has been issued for the North-east today.
The Met Office is warning that some roads in the region are likely to be affected by snow tonight.
The A96 between Inverurie and Keith is included in the area covered by the yellow warning, which is in place between 9pm today and 12pm tomorrow.
The forecaster said: “Rain will turn to snow over higher hills during Thursday daytime and then to some lower levels during Thursday night.
“A few centimetres of snow may affect higher routes before a slow improvement follows during Friday daytime.
“At lower levels, snow will probably struggle to settle on tarmac and concrete surfaces. Some icy patches are also possible.”
