Volunteers are being sought for a global environmental campaign.
The Great British Beach Clean is to take place between Friday and Monday at various locations across the country.
Organisers are looking for volunteers to join the clean-up on Friday at Scurdie Ness South in Montrose at 11am.
The campaign continues on Saturday at Greenbanks Bay in Banff at 10am and at Torry Battery at 11.45am.
There will also be an event at St Combs Beach and Forvie National Nature Reserve on Sunday at 11am, and a further Aberdeen clean-up at 2pm.
The data gathered at the Great British Beach Clean will contribute to a national and global survey.
The events held last year attracted around 7,000 volunteers to 339 beaches around Britain in 2017.
