A Inspire volunteer tackles the firewalk.

A charity which works with hundreds of people with learning difficulties and additional support needs throughout the North-east is seeking volunteers.

Aberdeen-based Inspire organises functions like supper clubs and arts and crafts events, to film clubs and firewalks.

Volunteer co-ordinator Eleanor Davison is recruiting and nurturing volunteers for the group’s befriending scheme.

She said: “We welcome anybody to Inspire who shares our values of empowering people to make and achieve their own life choices and live life to the full.

“Any time you can give will be appreciated.”
