An animal charity support group is inviting north-east dog owners to participate in a fundraising walk.

The dog walk starts at 11am at Deeside Activity Park on Sunday, with all funds raised going to the Scottish SPCA.

There is a £5 entry fee for those who wish to take part, with free parking available on site.

Scottish SPCA superintendent Sharon Comrie said: “We don’t receive any government or lottery funding which means we rely on the public to be able to continue our work rescuing and rehoming animals in desperate need of our help.”
