More than 100 bags of rubbish were collected in a litter pick by a team of volunteers.
More than 60 residents took part in the annual Cove and Altens clean up.
Organised by Cove and Altens Community Council, members of the public gathered at Loirston Primary School before heading out to gather rubbish.
Cove and Altens Community Council thanked everyone who turned out for the event.
The group said: “What a turn-out, more than 60 residents and helpers came along to Loirston Primary School to get kitted out and disperse into the community to pick up litter, and what a lot of litter there was to collect.
“More than 100 bags full, a bike, a road cone, various bits of wood and debris and a top hat.
“Thank you Charleston Sainsbury’s and Wellington Tesco for sponsoring refreshments for the returning volunteers. Tesco also sent along two members of staff to help.
“The Ranger Service and Aberdeen City Council supported us by providing the litter picking equipment and took away the amassed rubbish.
“Great community effort.”
