The most southerly junction of the entire project is the Stonehaven junction.
Here traffic on the existing A90 will break off at the slip road, travel round the new roundabout before joining the Aberdeen bypass – which is now named the A90.
At the junction the existing A90 becomes the A92 and continues heading towards Aberdeen past Newtonhill and Portlethen.
The new roundabout here also provides links to Stonehaven and the B979, Netherley road.
Heading north on the bypass here for 11.5km will take you to the new Cleanhill junction which connects the rest of the road heading north with the link to Charleston and Aberdeen.
