A man was left trapped in a van after a one-vehicle collision near a north-east village.
Police were called to the scene near Collieston at 3.30pm today.
The vehicle, a white Ford Transit van, had left the unclassified road.
A Police Scotland spokesman said the driver wasn’t hurt in the incident.
He said: “We received the call at 3.30pm today regarding a vehicle that had left the road.
“The incident happened just outside of the village of Collieston.
“The man wasn’t hurt in the incident but was initially trapped in the vehicle as the door wouldn’t open.
“He was able to get out of the vehicle and was checked over by an ambulance crew that attended and was safe and well.”
