Vandals scratch three Aberdeen cars on same street

Vandals scratched three cars on an Aberdeen street.

Police are appealing for information following the vandalism of three vehicles on Montrose Drive.

Two of the incidents happened between 9am and 4.45pm on Tuesday, April 11 where a grey Peugeot 107 and a silver Ford Fiesta sustained scratches to their paintwork.

A similar incident on the same street saw a grey Volkswagen Polo damaged on Tuesday, March 28 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

The force said officers are keen to hear from anyone who would have information which may assist with their inquiries.

PC John Chalmers said: “Vandalism is not acceptable in our communities and I would urge anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to get in contact with us.

“The financial impact of having your car damaged can be considerable as well as the time spent on repairs.

“Any information that would assist with our inquiries would be greatly appreciated.”
