An Aberdeen man has been handed unpaid work for stealing two motorbikes.
Josh Murison, 27, was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work when he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
He had previously admitted stealing the bikes on July 28 last year from Conglass Grove and Keith-hall Road, Inverurie.
Defence for Murison, Neil McRobert, said his client had a number of previous convictions but only two for theft.
He said the offences were committed after Murison, whose address was given as Hollybank Place, Aberdeen, “accrued a debt” in respect of his cocaine use.
The court was told the bikes were recovered.
