Union Street transformed for Aberdeen’s stage of Tour Series

Union Street has been transformed this morning ahead of the city’s stage of the Tour Series.

A large commentary box and race control centre has been constructed on Union Bridge, opposite the Trinity Centre.

The start/finish stretch of the course is also nearing completion ahead of the first race at 1pm today.

A number of streets across the city centre, including Union Terrace, Belmont Street and Back Wynd have been closed to vehicles.

The full programme is:

1pm – Active Schools Youth under-10s. 1.25pm – Active Schools Youth Under-12s.

2pm – Under-14 boys and girls, Under-16 boys and girls.

2.45pm – Senior.

3.45pm – Corporate Challenge.

4.30pm – Women’s race.

5pm – Senior race.

7.30pm – Elite race.
