An investigation has been launched following the “unexplained” death of a man in Monymusk.
The 64-year-old, who has not been identified, was discovered at an address on Friday in the St Andrew’s area.
Police Scotland said there are no suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called in relation to the sudden death of a 64-year-old man in St Andrews, Monymusk at about 3pm on Friday, March 24 March.
“Whilst inquiries are ongoing at present, the death is being treated as unexplained is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
