Baby box designs created by two North-east students have been revealed for the first time.
Monika Stachowiak, 28, and Grace Brown, 19, are both first-year visual communication students at North East Scotland College.
Along with four other finalists from across Scotland, their shortlisted creations were unveiled to the public by Minister for Childcare and Early Years Mark McDonald.
The winning box, which will be put into production in the summer, will be handed out to expectant mums across the country for the next three years.
Both students said their designs were inspired by wildlife.
Mr McDonald said the winner of the esteemed competition will be contributing a lot to mothers and babies over the years to come.
Announced by the Scottish Government in October, the baby box scheme will cost an estimated £6 million per year.
Each will contain items including bedding, clothing and nappies.
