Two men have appeared in court in connection with an alleged knifepoint robbery in Aberdeen.
Neil Booth, 40, and Ryan Stewart, 31, appeared in private yesterday at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
They both face a charge of assault and robbery.
Stewart is also charged with assault, theft by shoplifting and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He is further charged with possession of an article with a blade or point.
The pair, whose general addresses were both given as Aberdeen, made no plea at the behind-closed-doors hearing.

Their case was continued for further examination and Booth was released on bail while Stewart was remanded in custody and expected to appear again within the next week.
The appearance comes after Mohamed Harkati told the Evening Express of his terror after almost £1,000 was allegedly snatched in the incident near George Street.
