Two men in court following disturbance in Aberdeen

Two men have appeared in court in the wake of a disturbance in Aberdeen on Friday.

Patrick Selfridge, 35, and Mark Glen, 36, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday charged with having an article with a blade or point in a public space.

Selfridge was also charged with assault to severe injury and Glen was charged with assault to injury.

The pair, whose general addresses were given as Aberdeen, made no plea.

They were remanded in custody, while the case was committed for further examination.

The disturbance was reported at Farmers Hall, Rosemount, on Friday evening.
