Two men due in court after drugs worth nearly £4,500 found in Aberdeen

Heroin and crack cocaine worth nearly £4,500 has been recovered from a property in Aberdeen city centre.

Two men are due to appear in court after the drugs worth £4360 were found in a property on Holburn Street yesterday.

A 37-year-old and a 20-year-old are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in relation to alleged drugs offences.

Detective Constable Nichola Wallace said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling drug misuse in our communities.

“We rely on information from the public to help identify where, when and who are committing crimes in our area and so I would always encourage anyone who notices any unusual behaviour or goings on in their community to call us with details.

“Even just a small bit of information may prove to be useful to us in the long term.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or to remain anonymous, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
