Two men appeared in court accused of having a firearm or imitation firearm following an alleged late-night incident outside an Aberdeen supermarket.
Police cordoned off part of an Aldi car park in Aberdeen on Tuesday night after a man was hurt.
The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment – it is understood he did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The alleged altercation took place around 9.30pm outside Aldi in the city’s Cornhill area.
Paul Douglas and Jay Longmuir, both 23, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with the case.
They are both accused of having a firearm or imitation firearm in public as well facing charges relating to having offensive weapons and blades in their possession. They are further accused of having controlled drugs in their possession and being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Douglas, from Dundee, and Longmuir, from Kirriemuir, both made no plea and no declaration.
The pair were released on bail.
