Training sessions are to take place after a life-saving gadget arrived in the north-east.
Kingswells Community Council has been campaigning to introduce a defibrillator and one has now been delivered to Kingswells Pharmacy.
A community council spokesman said: “The defibrillator was delivered last week. We are currently installing it at the chemist and we hope this will be complete in the next few weeks.”

He added: “We are planning to arrange a training event run by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“The first training session will hopefully take place within the next month.
“Training will take approximately 90 minutes with a maximum number of 12 people at a time.”
