Firefighters tackled a blaze involving a tractor and 20 bales of hay in a North-east field today.
Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Services appliances – one from Kintore and one from North Anderson Drive in Aberdeen – were called to the incident between Kinellar and the B979 Blackburn to Hatton of Fintray road at around 12.25pm.
Nine firefighters were sent to the scene and used one jet, one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to battle the blaze, which was under control by 1.40pm.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed no one had been injured in the fire.
He said: “It was a tractor fire.
“It was in a field and involved 20 bales of hay.
“There were no casualties or rescues as a result of the incident.”
