A former shop unit is set to reopen in November as an Italian restaurant in an Aberdeen shopping centre.
Union Square is to see pizzeria Mozza which is run by Scottish operator Tony Macaroni.
The firm has three restaurants in Scotland with the new venture its first in Aberdeen.
Scheduled to open in November, the new 1,694 sq ft Mozza restaurant will create 20 jobs split between waiting and kitchen staff.
Ryan Manson, general Manager of Union Square, said: “We continue to appeal to sought after retailers, such as Mozza, who have chosen to make their debuts in the North-east here at Union Square.
“Mozza is a great addition to our already strong food offering, which includes Byron Burger, Las Iguanas and Thaikhun.
“We’re delighted to welcome this exciting brand to our centre and I’m sure our customers will be eager to try their delicious offering.”
The centre is also set to welcome pop-up store Menkind from this weekend until mid-January.
