Two men and a woman have appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
It comes after a man was taken to hospital after an alleged disturbance in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen on Sunday.
The 26-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a stable condition.
Mathew Donaldson, 21, Ashley Duncan, 21, and Lee Hutchison, 28, all appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the alleged incident.
The trio, who all had their general addresses givenas Aberdeen, are all facing a charge of attempted murder.
Hutchison was also charged with drugs possession.
All three made no plea or declaration during their appearance.
The case against them was continued for further examination.
Donaldson, Duncan and Hutchison were all remanded in custody and no further court dates have been set.
A 21-year-old woman was also set to appear in court but was released from custody without appearing.
A spokeswoman for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service said a report had been received concerning the woman in relation to the alleged incident.
She said: “The accused was liberated from custody and did not appear in court. The case against her remains live and under consideration.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said inquiries were ongoing.
