A man has been charged in relation to an alleged stabbing in a North-east town.
The incident happened on Lesmurdie Road, Elgin around 11.20pm last night.
A 23-year-old man is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court tomorrow in connection to the matter.
As a result of the incident a 26-year-old man was taken to Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin with serious but not life threatening or life changing injuries.
He remains in a stable condition in hospital at this time.
Police Scotland said inquiries are continuing into the incident.
